Zatloukal Innovations GmbH was spun-off the Medical University Graz in 2021 to bring results from research to industrial application. Based on a broad range of expertise a series of products for pandemic prepardeness and chemical, biological, radioactive and nuclear (CBRN) medical countermeasure will be developed. Zatloukal Innovations GmbH has a Framework Partnership Agreement (FPA) with the European Defence Fund (EDF) for CBRN medical countermeasure and has been awarded with several grants to develop key medicines that are not available in Europe against CBRN threats. Our approach is to develop – in collaboration with our daughter company Novabioma Biomanufacturing FlexCo – a biomanufacturing process for industrial scale, GMP-compliant manufacturing of biologics in plants that have been genetically modified to produce proteins with human-like glycosylation.
